Officially… Ulsan of Korea guarantees participation in the 2025 Club World Cup

Ulsan Hyundai, the South Korean champion, has officially entered the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, after defeating its guest, Yokohama Marinos of Japan, today, with a free goal, in the match that brought them together today, Wednesday, at the Ulsan Grand Crown Stadium, in the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-finals for the season. Current 2023-2024.

The International Federation of Association Football, FIFA, published a tweet congratulating the team on clinching its qualification to the Club World Cup, which stated: Congratulations to the Ulsan HD FC team on qualifying for the 2025 Club World Cup. Their victory over Yokohama Marinos in the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-final ensures… They have a place in the tournament through the Asian classification path.

Korean Ulsan

Ulsan of Korea is considered the third Asian club to qualify for the 2025 Club World Cup, along with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Urawa of Japan, while only one seat remains to be competed for by (3) clubs, namely Al-Ain of the Emirates. Japan’s Yokohama; Either of them must win the title to qualify, while Jeonbuk, the South Korean champion, may qualify. If Al Hilal wins the title.
