The Okayama Seagulls, V1 women’s volleyball team, played their last two matches of the regular round the day before (10th) and yesterday (11th).
The first day of two consecutive home games. The team we played against was KUROBE. In the early stages they were overwhelmed by their opponents’ various attacks and lost the first set. In the second set, Rinka Komatsubara, who had only been registered as a player in November last year, came into action. As she lands sharp spikes one after another… Ace Shuka Kaneda also shows her determination and wins this set. Although she lost the third set, she won the fourth and fifth sets and won. He thrilled the crowd with his characteristic tenacious volleyball.

The next day the final race took place to wrap it all up. They showed a never-give-up attitude until the end against leader JT Marvelous, but failed to match and lost 1-3. The Seagulls finished the regular round in 9th place in the league, moving up two places from 11th place last season.
