Olandria Carthen Shares Her Barblandria Coachella Style and Tips

Reality television star Olandria Carthen, known for her time on Love Island USA, has made her debut appearance at Coachella. Arriving on April 10, 2026, Carthen entered the festival grounds for the first time, embracing a curated persona she has dubbed Barblandria for the duration of the event.

Carthen’s arrival coincided with a Barbie-themed activation featuring a photobooth, a charm bar and a mirror mirage. As part of the installation, Carthen posed with a larger-than-life hologram of herself and Paris Hilton. Carthen told Popsugar that she named her first festival experience Ochella because of her collaboration with the Barbie brand.

Festival Fashion and Beauty Preparation

Despite being a first-time attendee, Carthen spent weeks preparing her packing list. Her essential gear for the desert environment included earplugs, sunscreen, mini fans, mini deodorant, various bandanas, and a variety of press-on nails in different sizes and colors.

A central part of her festival aesthetic is her signature body glow, which she achieves by mixing body shimmer, oil, and sunscreen to ensure she is glistening.

Carthen’s wardrobe for the weekend featured several distinct looks:

• A custom-made scandalous brown outfit by Baby Phat, which she cited as her favorite look of the weekend.
• A Western-inspired ensemble worn on the first night, consisting of a brown leather bralette with gold stud details and a matching mini skirt featuring buckles and grommets. This look was completed with a matching brown leather hat and cowboy boots.
• A two-tone pink mini dress worn specifically to celebrate the opening of the Barbie installation.

Musical Interests and Festival Vibe

Carthen described her intended festival vibe as that of a dancer, spending her time dancing to the music with a French 75 in hand.

The highlight of her musical itinerary was the Saturday performance by Justin Bieber. A lifelong fan, Carthen noted her appreciation for Bieber’s latest albums and specifically mentioned the song Yukon, stating that she enjoys when the artist taps into his R&B side.

Navigating Fame and Personal Connections

For this inaugural trip, Carthen brought along two of her best friends who were also attending the festival for the first time. She explained that prioritizing time for friends and family during new experiences has been a personal commitment since her rise to stardom.

One thing that really surprised me about being famous is how intense this life really is. The amount of dedication and hard work and sacrifices that you have to do to build a brand – it’s a lot, and it’s tiring. But I’m making it through and I’m doing it my best. It’s an intense lifestyle, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m learning how to adapt.
