OPPO has officially launched the Find X10 series and the Android 17-based ColorOS 17 operating system earlier than previously expected.

Hardware Evolution Across the Find X10 Lineup

The newly unveiled lineup features significant upgrades over its predecessor. The top-tier Find X10 Pro Max introduces an industry-first Triple 200 MP Camera System developed in partnership with Hasselblad, utilizing 200-megapixel sensors across its ultra-wide, main, and telephoto lenses. Meanwhile, the base Find X10 model features a dual camera system combining a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPE main sensor with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPS periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. Find X10 also includes a 50 megapiksel ultra wide camera and a 24-channel True Colour sensor, alongside a front camera upgraded from 32 megapiksel to 50 megapiksel. Both models support 4K video recording at 120 frames per second and 8K recording at 30 frames per second across their respective 200 MP sensors, while Open Gate Recording technology allows creators to use the entire sensor surface to crop and reframe footage horizontally, vertically, or for social media formats in post-production. The devices incorporate a One-Piece Carved Glass body blending the frame with the camera module, complemented by features such as a Snap Key on the left and power and volume buttons on the right. Find X10 offers Glacier Blue, Glow Coral, and Mist Blue color options, whereas Find X10 Pro Max comes in Moonlight White and Titanium Gray, featuring fine knurled edge details, a matte orange Hasselblad ring accent, and a fabric-textured dual-tone finish inspired by classic cameras. For durability, both devices feature IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications and an SGS five-star drop resistance rating, with Find X10 weighing 213 grams compared to Find X9’s 203 grams.

Performance specifications also divide the models. TeknoBurada noted that the Find X10 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M platform, while the Find X10 Pro Max steps up to the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro 2 nm chipset. Both devices pack a massive 8,000 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery designed to retain over 80 percent of its initial capacity after five years of intensive use, according to CNN Türk.

Software Integration and Global Release Schedule

On the software front, OPPO began rolling out the stable version of ColorOS 17 ahead of its initial October 29 schedule, with initial deployments spotted in markets like India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia as reported by Vietnam.vn. Technopat noted that ColorOS 17 introduces the Laminar Flow Engine and an Fluid Interface Design that reduces visual processing load by up to 30 percent and memory usage by up to 25 percent. In comparative testing, application launch stability increased by 55 percent, while gallery thumbnail initial loading improved by up to 50 percent, and simulated tests over six years showed the system maintaining over 90 percent of its initial fluidity even when storage was 90 percent full.

The updated software suite brings advanced artificial intelligence tools to supported devices. Technopat reported that ColorOS 17 incorporates an AI Mind Pilot assistant with Agent Mode for multi-step tasks, natural language photo editing, and an AI Call Guard designed to detect synthesized voices and face-swapping attempts during phone calls. Additional AI tools allow users to organize files, modify photos via text commands, create personalized content from saved information, and display context-aware details like train information at appropriate times, with users able to review and export this data.

Broader Industry Deployment and Market Timelines

While the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max launch directly with ColorOS 17, OPPO is systematically extending the new operating system to older hardware. Vietnam.vn outlined that the first wave of updates targets the Find X9 series, Find X9 Pro, Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s, and the foldable Find N6. Technopat added that an update schedule for October 2026 will encompass the Find N6, Find N5, Find X9, Find X8, and Reno16 families, followed by the Find N3, Reno15, and Reno14 series in November.
