Orban Over Speculation: Why Politics Trumps Guesswork in Leadership
Kelemen Hunor Chooses Between George Soros and Viktor Orban
UDMR President Kelemen Hunor was recently invited to the show “In opposition to Denise Rifai” where he was asked to make a choice between two influential figures: businessman George Soros and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
“There is no problem. One is an investor, a speculator, and the other is a politician. I always choose the politician, that is, Orban. If I have to choose between Soros and Orban, no problem. Soros has his merits, especially in the 90s, he is a speculator, he is an investor. I’m not good at that, and I’ve never really been attracted to this world of investors. (…) He speculates on some issues on the stock market, some weaknesses. So, you know very well, I don’t want to go into these matters, because I don’t know, but I also see, I also read, I also watch. Bravo to them, those who can do such a thing and not deceive others, but from my point of view, the choice is always for a politician, I am also a politician” Kelemen Hunor said.
Understanding the Choice
Kelemen Hunor’s choice may seem straightforward, but it highlights the differences between the two figures. George Soros is known for his business acumen and investment strategies, while Viktor Orban is a seasoned politician with a strong track record in Hungarian politics.
The Significance of the Choice
Kelemen Hunor’s decision to choose Viktor Orban over George Soros may have implications for his political stance and alliances. As the president of UDMR, his choices can influence the party’s direction and relationships with other political entities.
