New Manager Will Have Input on⁤ Staff Decisions

‍ New Baltimore Orioles manager Craig Albernaz will be actively⁣ involved in building his coaching staff, according to Orioles President of Baseball Operations Mike⁢ Elias. Elias stated on Tuesday, November 5, ‍2024, that the process will ⁣be a collaborative effort.

⁢ “We definately want the ability for him to put his stamp on the staff,” ‍Elias said, as reported by MASN Sports. “I think a big part of our hire ⁤and knowing the talent that we’re bringing into the organization with a guy like craig Albernaz is we want him to apply ⁢his trade and have an impact in the clubhouse, on the field, with the way that⁤ our team prepares, trains and competes, and part of that is choosing some staff members⁤ around you.”

elias emphasized the importance of albernaz shaping the staff, adding, “We’re collaborating together on it. But itS something that I ⁢want him to be able to shape, and we’ll handle that business the next few weeks the⁣ best we can.”

Status of existing Coaches Uncertain

the future of the orioles’ 2024 coaching staff remains unclear. ‍It is currently unknown ⁢whether any coaches will be retained for the 2025 season.
