Our general with a unique forecast for the war in Ukraine

The new year 2024 will be the year of Ukraine in its war with Russia, because the country cannot afford another year of hostilities. This different prediction was made in an interview for bTV by the reserve general Saby Sabev.

He reported that during the past year, neither Ukraine nor Russia managed to fulfill their military goals. For the Ukrainians, the bad news is the failed counteroffensive.

“The NATO armies would not have launched such a counteroffensive – without air superiority, without numerical superiority, with a lack of demining equipment. If it depended on the military, such an offensive would not have been undertaken, perhaps the politicians insisted,” Sabev said.

An additional factor was the delay in aid from the West – tanks, cluster munitions, missiles. The counteroffensive itself was dispersed – in 4 directions, while a usual counteroffensive is made in two directions – one main and one auxiliary, the general also reported.

And why, according to him, will 2024 be the year of Ukraine – the mass production of drones began – about a million are expected to leave the military factories, perhaps the production of ballistic and anti-ship missiles will also begin. According to Sabev, this will be a serious factor in the hostilities, as there was a possibility that Ukraine might even bomb Moscow, as there were fears in the Russian capital.

The Russian military industry is highly mobilized, but the Ukrainian strategy is to inflict such damage on the Russian military that they outpace the rate of recovery.

“I predict that the new Ukrainian counter-offensive will start in the summer – the end of July, the beginning of August. Ukraine must prepare its army, rearm and achieve the success it failed to achieve this year,” predicted Sabev.

He also praised the Bulgarian government for the decision to donate 100 armored personnel carriers to Kiev and insisted that Bulgaria could have also donated tanks, about one battalion, because, the general believes, we had “surplus stocks”.
