Malayali Woman Destroys Flower Garden in Bangalore Apartment Complex
Bangalore: A disturbing incident has come to light in the Thanisandra Monarch Serenity apartment complex, where a Malayali woman, Simi Nair, destroyed a flower garden set up by children in the common area as part of Onam celebrations.
A video of the incident has been widely shared on social media, showing the woman arguing with other residents and justifying her actions by citing a statute that prohibits planting flowers in common spaces. However, her actions have sparked widespread criticism, with many emphasizing the importance of respecting customs, beliefs, and cultures.
The incident highlights the need for greater understanding and tolerance in our society, particularly during festive occasions like Onam. The destruction of the flower garden, also known as a pookalam, has been met with outrage and disappointment from many in the community.
