FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers celebrated their second consecutive Stanley Cup championship with a victory parade Sunday on Fort Lauderdale Beach. An estimated 400,000 fans turned out to cheer on the team, basking in sunshine unlike last year’s rain-soaked event. The Stanley Cup parade served as a victory party and a key moment for fan engagement.
Panthers captain Aleksander barkov expressed his gratitude. “It’s a little better day today than it was last year, but still, this is amazing,” Barkov said. “What a day we’re having with you guys.”
Coach paul Maurice,sporting a custom shirt featuring his cats,Poppy and Penny,declared it “the summer of love” for Panthers fans.
