“The film Parava played a crucial role in attracting more meaningful characters to me. It also provided me the chance to work with exceptional directors,” said Ashokan. “Soon after Parava, I received offers to act in Unda and Trance,” he added.
Ashokan attributes his successful career trajectory to building relationships and delivering impactful performances. “The opportunities I received were a result of the connections I made while working on Parava. It was through those relationships that I got the offer for Mandaram from Aleksetan,” he revealed.
The actor further emphasized that the quality of the film and characters presented a crucial aspect of his career growth. “If we have a remarkable film with well-defined characters, we can pave our way into the industry based on the quality of our work,” stated Ashokan.
Highlighting the camaraderie that develops on film sets, the gifted artist shared his perspective on forming strong bonds with co-workers. “When we spend 30-40 days shooting a film together, it becomes natural to establish connections. If we share the right vibe, we tend to become friends quickly. Otherwise, we part ways after the project concludes,” explained Ashokan.
In his latest endeavor, Ashokan stars in the highly anticipated movie, Talking, directed by Abhilash and scripted by actress Lena. The film features a talented cast including Lena, Binu Pappu, Harishree Ashokan, Suresh Chandran, Nobby, and Polly Watson. Notably, Ashkar is responsible for the cinematography, while Naufal Pun produces the film.

‘The reason why so many good characters came is because I had an opportunity in the film Parava. I also got to work with good directors. After making Parava, Aleksetan gave me the film Mandaram.
From there he meets Azika (Asif Ali) and gets a chance at B.Tech. Varathan gets a chance when Soubika (Soubin) takes care of Parva. This all comes out of relationship and because of the character work we did.
I am called to unda and trance while doing parava. It is before the release. All this is considered a blessing. I had a good life because of that one picture.
If we have a good film and good characters, if we have the quality, we can enter anyway,’ says Arjun Ashokan.
He said that by the time you spend 30-40 days with your colleagues making a film, if you have the same vibe, you can quickly become friends.
‘When we make a film and stay together for 30-40 days, we automatically become friends even if we have the right person and the right vibe. If he can’t, we leave him.
After the film ends, we will go our separate ways. If they are still in a relationship after that picture, it means they have become so important to us.’ Said the star.
