‘Part 2’, the director’s reverence for the original work is hotter than the desert sun

Paul showed his ability as the Messiah to the Fremen who were looking forward to the arrival of the Messiah. Paul, who has risen to the position of leader, joins them in a battle of revenge against the emperor. prequel <듄>If this was the story before Paul’s awakening as the Messiah, <듄: 파트2>contains his awakening process and its aftermath. As the protagonist began to act, the scale of the spectacle grew. The technical achievements in the action scenes are amazing, from Paul controlling the sand worms worshiped by the Fremen to the close-quarters combat with the army as he infiltrates the Emperor’s stronghold. Director Denis Villeneuve captures the desired beauty by focusing the camera on the vast desert landscape and the protagonist’s suffering face for a long time. Austin Butler, who plays the newly joined role of Fade Lothar, exudes an amazing aura in the black-and-white filming scenes, and Florence Pugh and Lea Seydoux energize the play just by appearing.
