Recently, a ‘nuisance passenger’ was caught sleeping in the luggage compartment above his seat on a passenger plane that was flying.

According to the New York Post on the 9th (local time), a video showing a nuisance passenger was recently posted on social media such as TikTok.

The video showed a woman lying down in the luggage compartment above her seat. The short video, which lasts about 10 seconds, zooms in on the woman and ends with the cameraman smiling.

The media reported that the video was filmed on a Southwest Airlines flight. However, exact information, such as the flight number, date and time of the flight on which this woman was seen, has not been revealed. If the crew had discovered this, it is assumed they would have sanctioned him for safety reasons. However, this information was not communicated either.

The video has been viewed over 5 million times on TikTok. Netizens who saw this responded, “How on earth did he climb up there?” “It looks like he climbed up to sleep comfortably while lying down,” and “Probably someone was sitting in his seat and didn’t want to disturb him.”

The New York Post reported, “This isn’t the first time someone has been caught with a person in the baggage claim.” Last summer, a male passenger was found on a ledge on a Ryanair flight leaving Ibiza, Spain, and in 2019, a flight attendant climbed onto a ledge and surprised passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight at Nashville International Airport in Tennessee.
