Gleneagle Group Leader ‍Honored

Patrick O Donoghue, of the Gleneagle Group, has been recognized as the Kerry Business Leader of the Year for 2025. the award was presented ⁢at the Business leaders Dinner, held at the Rose Hotel, and organized in association with the ⁣ Kerry Innovation⁣ Center, Kerry County⁢ Council, and Ernst and⁢ Young⁢ (EY).

Chair of the Kerry Innovation Centre, Brid⁣ McElligott, praised O Donoghue’s visionary leadership. she highlighted the Gleneagle Group’s significant ⁢role as one of the region’s largest employers and its support for a vast network of local suppliers, and also hosting over 250,000 guests annually in Killarney.

McElligott⁣ also noted O Donoghue’s dedication to inclusivity and accessibility within the ‍tourism industry. The Gleneagle Group’s “people first” philosophy has earned it recognition as a Best Place to Work, setting⁣ a positive example for future generations.

Upon receiving the award, O Donoghue expressed his gratitude and acknowledged the contributions of his wife and⁢ business partner, Eileen, his family, and the Gleneagle Group’s employees.
