Paul Mescal Auctions “Gladiator II” Wardrobe for Suicide Prevention Charity
Irish heartthrob Paul Mescal is using his star power for good,auctioning off items from his “Gladiator II” press tour wardrobe to benefit pieta House,a suicide prevention charity in Ireland.
The online auction, hosted on the secondhand fashion platform vinted, will take place on December 16th. Chief Executive of Pieta House Stephanie Manahan told News at One that fans can bid on a variety of stylish pieces, including Jimmy Choo leather boots, trendy knitted wear, and t-shirts worn by Mescal during interviews and promotional events for the highly anticipated sequel.

“He has become a bit of a style icon for sure,” Manahan said, noting that the items will be available for preview on Vinted before the auction begins. She anticipates significant interest from fans eager to own a piece of the actor’s signature style.
mescal, who has become a global sensation since his breakout role in “Normal people,” is a proud advocate for mental health awareness, particularly among young men.
“He is an amazing superstar, and a proud son of Ireland,” Manahan said. “We are so proud of him.”
This isn’t Mescal’s first time using his platform to support Pieta House. In 2020, he auctioned the iconic chain necklace he wore in “Normal People,” sparking a fashion trend and raising funds for the charity during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Manahan highlighted Mescal’s dedication to raising awareness about suicide prevention, particularly among young men. “If someone like paul can encourage young men to seek help, to reach out, to talk, then it’s really a job incredibly well done,” she said.
