Carabineros Puppies Steal the Show at the 2024 Military Parade

The Carabineros puppies managed to catch all eyes in O’Higgins Park, where the new puppies who will be part of the organization’s dog squad were welcomed.

This Thursday, September 19, there will be a new version of the Military Parade 2024, where the appearance of the Carabineros puppies took center stage.

The event is held year after year to commemorate the Army Glory Day, where there are different schools and units of the Chilean Army along with other branches of the Armed Forces, Order and Security, in addition to the Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) join together to march in Parque O’Higgins, in the community of Santiago.

Under this context, the dog squad parade of the police organization was part of one of the most anticipated moments of the 2024 Military Parade.

In addition to this, 16 puppies were presented which will henceforth belong to Carabineros: Lenka, Lylo, Lady, a lot, Lennox, Lotus, Lancelot, Dessy, Ammyts, Alanis, Demi, Delta, Destiny, Brenda, Baxter, and Mizuki.

A total of 7,959 officers of the Armed Forces and Carabineros is part of the 2024 Military Parade. This figure represents a 20% less than the number of uniformed personnel who took part last year.

Specifically, 4,280 Army personnel, 1,297 Navy personnel, 1,048 FACh, and 1,334 Carabineros officers marched.
