Perampra: A student from Perampra has qualified for the International Karate Championship.
Tanmaya (13) qualified for the international championship at Bejoy Villa, Valyakode by winning a gold medal in the Shito Ryu Karate National Championship held in Mysuru. She is a class 8 student at Perampra Higher Secondary School.
The competition will be held in Indonesia in September. Valyakote is the daughter of Biju and Praseetha couple. Trained under Laljit.
