Thiruvalla: The Thiruvalla police has registered a case against the model who entered the Othera Pudukulangara church and did a photo shoot. The case is against model and new media star Nimisha Lijo from Chalakudy. The case was registered on a complaint filed by Palliyoda Sangh representative and Pudukulangara NSS Kara Yogam office bearer Suresh Kumar.
A case has also been registered against Unni, a native of Puliyur, who helped him to enter the church.
The complaint said that the moment a woman ignored her belief that she was not allowed to enter the church, her entry into the church in shoes was an encroachment on her faith and that a non-bailable section should be filed against her for insulting the faith.
The DySP said he was asked to report to the Thiruvalla police station the next day.
