June 30 – Pheu Thai Party Member of Parliament, Pichet Chuamuangphan, has pledged to ensure the party secures the position of Speaker of the House. In a recent discussion with fellow MPs, Pichet expressed the need for the negotiating team to adhere to the party’s consensus. He emphasized that the committee is a support system for the party and not authorized to make independent decisions. The main focus of the negotiations is to secure the position of Speaker of the House for the Pheu Thai Party.
Pichet stated, “The negotiating team’s role is simply to convey messages, not make decisions. They must not deviate from the party’s agreed-upon positions. Therefore, the position of council chairman cannot be given to anyone else.”
