In the North

Last week, the⁣ price‍ of live pigs in the ⁤Northern market increased sharply⁣ due to the impact of ⁢floods ⁤and⁤ rains, which caused heavy damage to⁣ many pig farms ⁢and difficulties in transportation, resulting in a significant decrease in supply.

The purchase‍ price in Hanoi has reached ​70,000 VND/kg, the ‍highest⁣ in the country. In the remaining provinces and cities, ​the price of live pigs has also⁢ increased by 1,000 – 4,000 VND/kg,‌ to about 67,000 ‌- 69,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands Region

The purchase ⁣price of live pigs in the⁢ Central Highlands region ‍has also increased​ by 1,000 – 3,000 ⁢VND/kg ⁢in many localities. Currently, the price of live pigs in this region fluctuates between 63,000 – ​67,000 VND/kg.

Live pigs in Thanh Hoa and Nghe ⁢An are⁣ being sold ‍at 67,000 ​VND/kg, a difference of at least 2,000 VND/kg compared to other provinces⁢ in the region.

In the Southern Region

Similar to the two regions above, the southern pig market also continues to rise in many provinces and cities.

Traders in Dong Nai and ⁣Binh Duong are purchasing live ⁣pigs at​ 66,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. ‌On the other hand, the 4 provinces of​ Kien Giang, Tien⁣ Giang,⁢ Bac ⁤Lieu, and Tra‍ Vinh are trading at 63,000​ VND/kg, the‍ lowest in⁢ the region.

The ‌remaining provinces and cities in ​the region have a buying and selling price difference of about 64,000 ‍- 65,000 VND/kg.

Nationwide Survey‌ Price

In‍ general, pork prices are on the rise in all ‍three regions, and this trend is⁤ likely to⁣ continue until next week. Currently, the⁤ nationwide survey⁤ price fluctuates between 63,000 – 70,000 VND/kg.
