Pikmin Bloom Journey 2026 Seoul: Tickets Now Available

Nintendo has announced Pikmin Bloom Journey 2026, a series of paid events designed to integrate augmented reality (AR) gaming with physical exploration. The initiative consists of two distinct experiences: a localized live event in Seoul, South Korea, and a global online event titled Challenge Anywhere.

The event structure allows users to engage with the game’s mechanics through specialized missions and rewards, focusing on the collection of exclusive Decor Pikmin and digital collectibles. Tickets for both the live and online components went on sale on March 30, 2026.

Pikmin Bloom Journey 2026: Seoul

The live portion of the event takes place in the Yeouido district of Seoul. Participants can purchase tickets for either Saturday, May 23, 2026, or Sunday, May 24, 2026, at a price of 22,000 KRW.

Attendees in Seoul will be able to encounter the exceptionally laid-back Purple Pikmin while exploring the city. The live event features location-specific rewards, including various types of Gold Seedlings, Blue Hibiscus nectar, and event-exclusive postcard designs.

For those wishing to attend both days, Nintendo is offering an Active 2-Day Option for ticket holders.

Pikmin Bloom Journey 2026: Challenge Anywhere

To accommodate users who cannot travel to South Korea, the Challenge Anywhere online event allows global participation from any location. This event runs from Friday, May 29, 2026, at 9:00 until Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 23:59 local time.

Tickets for the online event are priced at 9.99 USD (tax included) and are available through the in-app shop and the Web Store. The ticket sales period remains open until May 31, 2026, at 21:59 local time.

The online event is structured around specific challenges that unlock rewards:

• The first challenge requires users to walk 7,000 steps to receive the event’s Special Badge.
• The second set of missions includes getting nectar from three Big Flowers to earn a Gold Seedling for the Purple Rosette Decor Pikmin.
• A third mission requires planting 3,000 blue hibiscuses to obtain a special event postcard. To assist with this, 300 blue hibiscus petals are granted to users upon the purchase of a ticket.

AR Integration and Global Features

A key technical feature of the Journey 2026 event is the implementation of Festival Mushrooms. These are special giant mushrooms that appear at regular intervals at famous landmarks across Korea.

Unlike standard gameplay mushrooms, these Festival Mushrooms have no limit on the number of participants who can engage in the battle. Users who successfully destroy these mushrooms can obtain postcards featuring photographs of the landmarks.

The overarching goal of the Journey 2026 series is to provide rewards such as encounters with special Decor Pikmin, exclusive Mii costumes, and postcards through the completion of physical walking missions.
