Portland Pilots Women’s Cross Country at NCAA West Regionals

The Portland Pilots Women’s Cross Country team finished fifth at the NCAA West Regionals. Four runners placed in the Top 30, and two earned All-Region honors: Laura Pellicoro and Fleur Templier.

Race Highlights:

  • Laura Pellicoro led the team, finishing eighth with a time of 19:42.5. She advanced nine positions in the final 2k to secure her top 10 finish.
  • Fleur Templier placed 11th, setting a personal record (PR) of 19:47.7. She remained in the top 15 throughout the race.
  • Maebh Richardson finished 26th with a PR of 20:16.4, moving up from 35th place.
  • Juliette Forstrom took 27th, also with a PR of 20:17.7, passing 20 runners during the race.
  • Stina Pettersson rounded out the scoring five in 90th place, achieving a PR of 21:20.3.

By finishing in the top 25, Pellicoro and Templier earned All-Region honors. Pellicoro’s finish ranks third among non-automatic qualifying runners, placing her in position to qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
