PLN Launches Ultima Home Charging Services for Electric Vehicles in Indonesia

Jakarta – PT PLN (Persero) has officially launched Ultima Home Charging Services (HCS), the latest iteration of its Electric Vehicle (EV) home charging service. PLN states this new version offers a faster and more streamlined installation process, representing a significant advancement in EV charging infrastructure in Indonesia.
Unlike the previous HCS version, Ultima is designed for quicker and more practical implementation. The entire process – from submission submission to installation and after-sales support - is now fully integrated within the PLN system and managed end-to-end in real-time through the PLN Mobile application.Previously, applicants lacked real-time visibility into the progress of their service requests.
PLN reports that HCS Ultima significantly reduces connection times to just 7 working days for low-voltage connections. PLN Managing Director Darmawan Prasodjo stated the service was developed to address public demand for faster and more convenient EV charging solutions. He concluded, “ima is complete.”
