Pokemon Go February 2025 Events: Raids, Spotlight Hours, Community Day, And More

A new month brings a fresh batch of events and activities to Pokemon Go. The mobile game is winding down its Dual Destiny season with several notable happenings in February, including raids, Spotlight Hours, and special events.

Raid Schedule

Pokemon Go is revamping its raid rotation this month. Starting February 3, legendary Pokemon like Enamorus, Xerneas, and Yveltal will make appearances in five-star raids. Mega Tyranitar and Mega Garchomp will feature in Mega Raids, while Shadow Regirock will pop up in Shadow Raids every weekend.

Max Battles

• Feb 3-10: Squirtle, Machop, Crabrawler, Moltres, Sobble
• Feb 10-17: Machop, Cryogonal, Scorbunny, Skwovet, Falinks
• Feb 17-24: Machop, Pidove, Grookey, Falinks

Five-star Raids

• Jan 24-Feb 6: Enamorus (Power form)

Spotlight Hours

Pokemon Go’s weekly Spotlight Hour events continue in February. Every Tuesday evening from 6-7 PM local time, a particular Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild, accompanied by a helpful bonus. Here are the scheduled Spotlight Hours:

• Feb 4: Carvanha, with 2x evolution XP
• Feb 11: Luvdisc, with 2x catch Stardust
• Feb 18: coming soon
• Feb 25: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, with 2x catch candy

Small Yet Strong

Kicking off February is the ‘Small Yet Strong’ event from Feb 5-8. Expect tiny Pokemon like Natu, Burmy, Joltik, and Nymble to appear more frequently, with a chance of encountering shiny Nymble. Event-themed Timed and Field Research tasks, and a Collection Challenge await, along with double XP for catching Pokemon.

February Community Day

This month’s Community Day features not one, but two stars: Shelmet and Karrablast. On Feb 9, from 2-5 PM local time, these Pokemon will be swarming the wild, with increased shiny chances. Grab your Lure Modules and Incense, as they’ll last for three hours, and make the most of triple XP and double candy. The featured Pokemon will also learn exclusive moves if evolved during the event.

Beloved Buddies & Hoopa Unbound Raid Day

Stay tuned for details on the ‘Beloved Buddies’ event (Feb 11-15), and mark your calendars for another shot at the legendary Hoopa during the ‘Hoopa Unbound Raid Day’ on Feb 15.

Scattered To The Winds & Road To Unova

Get ready for more exciting events. ‘Scattered To The Winds’ is slated for Feb 18-20, and the ‘Road To Unova’ event leads up to the Pokemon Go Tour: Unova celebration early next month.
