In “Pocket Monsters Scarlet Violet”, it has become a hot topic that among the three Pokémon that can be chosen at the beginning, the “Fire” type “Hogeta” is too strong.

A “PokémonChallenges” video distributor tweeted on November 24 that “Hogeta” was too strong after finishing the “Nasrock Challenge” in just 20 hours with “Pocket Monster Violet”.

The Naslock Challenge is a way for players to set their own limits and play the game, and if their Pokemon is in a “cold” state, it cannot be recovered and is considered permanently dead. It is a rule that they must that release into the wild. Furthermore, only the first Pokémon encountered in each area is allowed to be caught.

However, according to Pokemon Challenges, choosing Hogeta would make Nasrock’s challenge too easy. Pokemon Challenges tweeted: “Even among the Gosanke (three Pokemon you can choose first), Hogeta is too strong to use in Nasrock. Hogeta alone defeated 5 Gym Leaders, one of the Four Heavenly Kings , and Champion. Another Pokémon. “But there is no Pokémon from the Gosanke that is this strong.”

“If you want to enjoy Nasrok, you might want to ban Hogeta.”

Other players responded to the “Pokémon Challenges” tweet as follows: “Exactly. I was playing Hogeta for a while, but it felt like I was playing on easy mode, so I started over (picked a different Pokemon).”

Yet another player notes that Hogeta’s strength is due to his ability to “be immune to normal and melee attacks” and his ability to use extremely powerful moves.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet, released on November 18th, has been a huge commercial success despite numerous reports of bugs and other technical issues. This work exceeded the sales of “God of War Ragnarok” in the first week of its release, and the total sales exceeded 10 million in just three days after its release.

The NME review gave it three stars, stating: “Pokémon Scarlet Violet is a frustrating title (with lots of bugs). If you’re a Pokémon fan, you might not mind the technical issues or design flaws, but this kind of mediocre work makes me recommend it. No. some interesting ideas in the game, but I feel that the developers, Game Freak, need a little more time to refine their ideas.”

In other news, a spokesperson for Activision Blizzard said that Microsoft’s acquisition of the company would only benefit gamers, calling the claim that the deal unfairly hurts competition “absurd”.
