Adrien Palumbo’s first months as head of Polestar in Spain and Portugal have
been promising. In teh first quarter of 2025, sales in Spain increased 84%
compared to the same period the previous year, which “doubles the average
growth rate of the 100% electric car segment in spain,” Palumbo said at a
meeting with journalists in Madrid.
Palumbo, who took over for Stephane in February as managing director, added
that “until the end of May, the company’s accumulated progression reaches
115%.”
Polestar closed the first quarter of the year with worldwide deliveries of
12,304 vehicles, a 76% increase over the same period in 2024 and a stable
result compared to the last quarter of the previous year.
The company says this growth reflects the effectiveness of the transition to
the agency model,launched between October and November of last year.
Polestar is beginning operations in France, the 28th country where the brand
has a presence. Stephane Le Guével, Palumbo’s predecessor, is responsible
