A PoliMiranda official, identified as Kelvis Berríos, murdered his wife, Cristi Méndez, with a shot to the head, while they were having a heated argument inside their home located in the Guaremal sector, Guaicaipuro municipality of Los Teques, Miranda state.
It was learned that the victim, who was also an official of the same police agency and worked as Chief Inspector, was arguing strongly with his partner and ended up shooting him in the forehead.
Seeing that the woman was lying on the ground after the shot, Berríos decided to take the gun again and also shoot himself in the head. However, he did not die, but was seriously injured.
