Poodle’s Painful Ordeal: Salon Employee’s Brutal Beating Leaves Beloved Pet with Lasting Injuries

[Notizie sugli animali]The young poodle ‘Holiday’, just 11 months old, was left in shock and became incontinent after recently going to a grooming shop for a bath. He is still unable to walk normally and is suspected to have suffered neurological damage. The dog’s owner, Ms. Su, immediately called the police. When police arrived to check the CCTV, they found that a male employee hit the dog on the head with a shower head, causing him to lose consciousness and immediately administered first aid to the dog. That evening police arrested a 27-year-old man named Huang on charges of animal cruelty. Ms. Su was heartbroken over Holiday’s injury and had made an appointment to see a neurologist tomorrow. He said he would not give up on treating his dog and hoped to seek justice for the dog so that there would be no more victims.

In response to this newspaper’s investigation, police said they received a complaint from a woman on Sept. 24, alleging that her dog was suspected of being treated inappropriately while receiving grooming services at a store of grooming in Aberdeen. The case was handed over to the Fourth Squad of the Western District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. After investigation, the same day police arrested a 27-year-old male shop assistant, surnamed Huang, on charges of cruelty to animals. The arrested man is currently on bail pending further inquiries and is due to report to police in early October.

The pet grooming salon involved is located in the Liqun shopping center in Aberdeen. Ms. Su brought two dogs to the shop for a bath on the afternoon of September 24th. Later, she received a call from staff telling her that Holiday was suddenly paralyzed, they knew something was wrong and rushed to the scene. At the same time, they immediately called the police. When the owner arrived at the scene, he said that the dog had regained consciousness after first aid at that time he was in serious condition, was drooling and incontinent and was unable to move forward on his feet .

After police arrived at the scene, they looked at the CCTV together and discovered that a male shop assistant had hit the dog on the head with a shower head. The dog immediately fell to the ground. Then he saw the clerk checking the condition of the dog and giving help to the dog first. Ms. Su was very angry and heartbroken, so she took the dog to the veterinary clinic for examination, found that it had no fractures and suspected nerve damage. He also checked that there were no congenital problems in the dog that would cause this condition. Holiday was no longer incontinent after being admitted to the hospital, but she still drooled, couldn’t walk and often leaned to the left. The vet advised her to see a neurologist for further examination of the dog.

He described Holiday as an active, very docile and well-behaved dog. He was only 11 months old and didn’t expect to encounter anything unexpected. Now the dog cannot walk normally or in a straight line. It can only drag its hind legs to the left. And he continues to refuse to eat and has to stay in hospital to give him salt water. She admitted feeling very uncomfortable and heartbroken, but said she would not give up on treating the dog. “The vet said there can be three situations. One is a drug, one is surgery and one is incurable. It’s really heartbreaking. I was beaten suddenly. I don’t want compensation now, I want to sue him. I don’t I want to have another victim.”
