Papa’s message on Twitter was as follows:

“God manifests himself in #Thiruppiravi as the one who descends to the earth, becoming small and poor. It means that if we want to be like him, we must submit ourselves, serve others, become small with the small and poor with the poor.”

EN: At #Christmas time God reveals himself as the One who humbles himself, descends to the earth small and poor. This means that we must, to be like Him, lower ourselves, put ourselves in the service of others, make ourselves small with the small and poor with the poor.

EN: On #Christmas, God reveals Himself as the One who Humbles Himself, descending to the earth small and poor. Therefore, in order to be like him, we must submit ourselves, serve others, and become small with the small and poor with those in need.
