After taking over as coach for the first time, I was happy to see the players enthusiastically take on the challenges on the field, and I was disappointed that I was unable to channel that energy into victory. We managed to get the players on the pitch with good motivation and they played with confidence, but we have to take the 4-1 defeat seriously and I think it was a match where we could see a lot of problems.
While I appreciate the fact that we managed to show the type of football we are trying to play, we want to make sure we can continue to do so and create opportunities for next time. We also want to carefully analyze our problems, make as many improvements as possible and use today’s match as an opportunity to make changes so that the whole team can improve.

In the first half it was our game, we took the lead and managed to maintain possession of the ball, which was our objective. In the second half, when our time in possession progressively decreased, if we had played like in the first half, I think we would have had the chance to score two or three more points. We couldn’t steal the ball on defense, so we had to adapt our strength and coordination.
