Postponing the Al Hilal and Al Ain match – Al Madina Newspaper

Media reports revealed, on Tuesday, that the match between Al Ain and its guest, Al Hilal, was postponed for the AFC Champions League. The match was scheduled to be held on Tuesday evening, on the field of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, as part of the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-final, before it was postponed due to weather instability, which caused witnessed by the United Arab Emirates.

The Abu Dhabi Sports Channel reported that there is a tendency to hold the match on Wednesday at the same time, i.e. eight o’clock UAE time (four o’clock GMT). The United Arab Emirates is witnessing a state of weather instability that will continue until Wednesday, accompanied by abundant amounts of rain falling in various regions of the country.

Al-Ain qualified for the semi-finals after its victory in the quarter-finals over Al-Nasr, while Al-Hilal secured a ticket to the semi-finals after beating Al-Ittihad. The second semi-final match will be held on Wednesday between Ulsan Hyundai of South Korea and Yokohama F Marinos of Japan.

The return leg is expected to take place on April 23 and 24.
