In response to the Democratic Party’s inauguration of a self-verification task force for education minister candidate Park Soon-ae and health and welfare minister candidate Kim Seung-hee, the People’s Power criticized the people’s efforts, saying, “Ignoring the personnel hearing process through the formation of a circle, they are only raising their enthusiasm for allegations in every corner.” .

Song Eon-seok, senior deputy floor representative for the floor, said at the floor countermeasures meeting today, “The situation is already preoccupied with branding the candidate as inappropriate without even conducting a hearing. said.

“If there is a problem with the candidate for the National Assembly member, it is a legitimate way in accordance with the law and principle to raise the issue through official remarks at the personnel hearings that everyone can see,” he said.

He also urged the Democratic Party to come out of the dark room and actively engage in the negotiations to form a circle, and in particular, promptly implement the agreement reached by the ruling and opposition parties in July last year.

Currently, due to disagreements between the ruling and opposition parties over the distribution of the standing committee, the composition of the National Assembly members has not been formed in the second half of the year, so the personnel hearings for Minister Park Soon-ae and Kim Seung-hee, who received a request for a hearing last month, have not been held.

In response, the Democratic Party of Korea launched a task force within the party to verify the personnel of ministerial candidates yesterday, saying, “Even before the National Assembly normalizes, we cannot let go of the verification of problematic personnel.”
