Power plant destruction, broadcasting station explosion… Ukrainian Donbass full of gunfire

Tensions have risen since Russia decided to send troops to eastern Ukraine. In the Donbas region of Ukraine, as the fighting continued between government forces and pro-Russian rebels, a power plant was bombarded and a large explosion occurred at a broadcasting station.

The thermal power plant was also bombarded and engulfed in flames, but it is difficult for firefighters to enter due to the continued attack.

An explosive was also detonated at a station in the rebel area.

The Donbas region, where Ukrainian government forces and pro-Russian rebels have faced each other for more than eight years.

Tensions grew when Russian President Putin approved the independence of the rebels and ordered the entry of Russian troops.

However, some pro-Russian residents support Putin’s decision.

Cannons were set off to coincide with Putin’s speech, and vehicles marched through the city center with Russian flags on them.

The Russian Senate unanimously approved Putin’s deployment of troops on the 22nd, formalizing the deployment of troops in Ukraine.

About 100 military vehicles and barracks were also newly discovered on the southern border of Belarus.

When the Russian invasion became a reality, the President of Ukraine ordered a reserve force call.
