Many small traders purchasing green mangosteen said that mangosteen chicken salad is still popular but the “fever” is not as good as in 2023. However, pre-peeled green mangosteen costs from 500,000-600,000 VND/kg. , increased from 200,000-300,000 VND over the same period.
Because mangosteen has reduced productivity, many gardeners are not in a hurry to sell raw fruit because the consumption rate of ripe fruit is still higher. In addition, when picking green mangosteens, if you do not pay close attention, the branches will break and waste time taking care of them for the next season.
