Women’s Volleyball Competition at 2022 Asian Games
The highly anticipated Women’s Volleyball competition at the 19th Asian Games, also known as the 2022 Asian Games, is set to take place in Hangzhou, China from September 30 to October 7, 2023. This prestigious event will witness the participation of 13 nations, including the host country China, Japan, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Mongolia, North Korea, Afghanistan, and Nepal.
Group Stage
The group stage of the competition is divided into four groups, namely Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D. Groups A, B, and C consist of three teams, while Group D consists of four teams. These teams will engage in round-robin matches to determine the top 1-2 teams from each group who will advance to the next round.

Group A
In Group A, China is leading the pack with one win and three points, closely followed by North Korea with one win and three points. India, unfortunately, has not managed to secure any points as they lost both of their matches.
Group B
Thailand is dominating Group B with one win and three points, while Taiwan stands at the second position with one win and three points as well. Mongolia, on the other hand, faced defeat in their only match and is yet to secure any points.
Group C
Group C is under the control of Vietnam, who emerged victorious in both of their matches and is currently leading the group with five points. South Korea, despite losing one match, has managed to secure a point, putting them in the second position. Nepal, unfortunately, has not been able to gain any points yet.
Group D
Japan and Kazakhstan are dominating Group D with two wins each, accumulating a total of six points. Hong Kong and Afghanistan, on the other hand, have not managed to secure any points as they suffered defeats in both of their matches.

Group A
The match between North Korea and China is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
Group B
Mongolia will face Thailand at 1:30 pm.
Group C
Nepal will go head-to-head against South Korea at 9:30 am.
Group D
Japan will clash with Kazakhstan at 1:30 pm, while Afghanistan will battle it out against Hong Kong at 6:00 pm.
