The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, adopted the Ordinance on the price of vehicle documents and the price of markings for marking vehicles, which defines the amount of the fee for registering old-timer vehicles and the use of portable registration plates, which until now was not prescribed and caused problems natural and legal persons.
The fee for issuing and using a portable registration plate, as well as for registration plates for old-timer vehicles, is 20 KM.
Other fees are at the level of 2009 and start at 5.00 KM for the issuance of certificates of vehicle ownership and registration, as well as for the issuance and use of vehicle markings – stickers, stickers, as well as registration plates for test driving, while the fee for the issuance of a booklet confirming the use of portable plates is 10.00 KM.
The fee for issuing a registration plate for a motor vehicle is 20.00 KM, and the fee for registration plates for a trailer, motorcycle and bicycle with a motor is 10.00 KM.
At the same level as before, fees for registration plates for the vehicle of DKP, missions, and international organizations in BiH are 30.00 KM, as well as for registration plates for a temporarily registered vehicle 50.00 KM.

The amount of the monetary compensation for the issuance of all these labels in case of their loss, theft, destruction or damage to such an extent that they can no longer serve the purpose is identical to the amount of the compensation for their issuance.
Monetary fees are paid to the Single Account of the Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Of the total collected funds, 30 percent represents the income of the budget of BiH institutions, and 70 percent belongs to the competent bodies for the registration of motor vehicles.
The Rulebook enters into force on the eighth day from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of BiH, when the previous Rulebook on the price of vehicle registration documents and fees for the use of registration plates ceases to be valid (“Official Gazette of BiH”, number 76/09).
