Prime Volleyball League Extends Broadcast Deal With Sony Sports Network
The Prime Volleyball League (PVL), India’s top professional volleyball competition, will continue its broadcast partnership with Sony sports Network. The agreement marks the fourth consecutive year that Sony Sports Network will serve as the official broadcast partner in India for the PVL.
The 2025 Prime Volleyball League season is scheduled to begin Oct.2.All PVL matches will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network channels throughout the Indian subcontinent. To reach a global audience, every match will also be live-streamed on the Prime Volleyball League’s YouTube channel.
Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer of Sony Pictures Networks India, expressed enthusiasm for the continued partnership. “We are pleased to continue our partnership with the Prime Volleyball League,” Kaul said. “We are committed to the growth of homegrown leagues and our association with PVL is a testament to that.”

The PVL Season 4 player auction took place in Calicut on June 8.Ten franchises, including the debutant Goa Guardians, bid on 789 players.franchises spent more than ₹6 crore. Jerome Vinith C, last season’s MVP, was acquired by Chennai Blitz for ₹22.5 lakh. Calicut Heroes secured Shameemudheen for the same amount, and Kochi Blue Spikers brought in Vinit Kumar.
