Kochi: Former India captain Tom Joseph will be the co-coach of the Hyderabad Howax team in the newly formed Prime Volleyball League. Tom Joseph is also the team’s mentor. Argentina’s Reuben Voloshin is the team’s head coach. In addition to Tom Joseph, there are five other coaches in the Prime Volleyball League.
Former Indian cricketer Kishore Kumar is the head coach of Calicut Heroes. Former national player CV Najeeb is the co-coach. Former India coach Sunny Joseph is the head coach of the Kolkata Thunderbolt team and former Services player Siju Joseph is the co-coach. ST Harilal is the co-coach of Kochi Blue Spykers.
The star auction of the tournament, which will be held in Kochi in February, will be held on the 14th in Kochi. A total of seven teams will compete in the tournament. The Pro Volleyball League was started in 2019 under the leadership of the Volleyball Federation but stopped after the first season. Baseline Ventures, the governing body of the Pro Volley League, was suspended after its first season due to a dispute with the Volleyball Federation. Baseline Ventures is also the organizer of the Prime Volleyball League.
