Prince Harry Flies to London to Visit Ailing King Charles III

As soon as the news broke that the King of England had cancer, Harry flew to London within 24 hours to visit him

(AFP, London, 6th) Less than 24 hours after the news emerged that King Charles III of the United Kingdom has cancer, his son, Prince Harry, flew to London today to visit him.

Agence France-Presse reported that Harry currently lives in California with his American wife Meghan and their children, and since retiring from royal life in 2020, there are rumors that Harry has been at odds with his family.

Royal observers say Charles III’s poor health could be the catalyst for reconciliation between father and son.

Despite recent tensions with the royal family, Harry traveled directly from Heathrow airport in London to his father’s home, Clarence House.

Charles III smiled and waved to passers-by as he took a short trip from Clarence House in central London to Buckingham Palace this afternoon. This is his first public appearance since news of his cancer emerged.

He and his wife Queen Camilla then took a helicopter to rest at the Sandringham Estate in the eastern English countryside.

According to newspaper media reports, just before Charles III left, Prince Harry was photographed arriving at Clarence House for a brief reunion with his father.

However, a royal source said Harry did not plan to meet his brother Prince William during his trip to the UK. (Translator: Ji Jinling)
