Jeddah: Saudi Crown Prince Emir Mohammed bin Salman and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Qadmi have met. The meeting took place at the Al Salam Palace in Jeddah.
Bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the meeting. Strengthening security and stability in the region was also discussed. The Iraqi Prime Minister arrived in Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening.

He arrived at the Jeddah airport and was received by the Crown Prince in person. On Sunday morning, the Iraqi Prime Minister arrived in Makkah to perform Umrah. Mustafa al-Qadmi and his entourage were received at the Masjid al-Haram by officials from both Haram offices and Haram security chiefs.

Ajman: A UAE national lost his backseat due to a moment of negligence on the part of a bus driver. The father of a girl who died tragically under the tire of his own school bus near home has announced that he is donating all the blood money he received to charity.
Sheikh Hassam Bilal, 12, was killed in a road accident on February 15. Sheikh, who was returning home from school, got off the bus and died under the same bus within seconds. Police and the court found that the expatriate driver, who was driving the bus, did not follow traffic-safety rules. He was sentenced to six months in prison and fined the father of the child 200,000 dirhams. The Ajman Court of Appeal recently upheld the sentence.

Sheikh’s father had instructed his brother to accept the court order for blood money. The father suggested that the money be used to build a church and to donate the money to a charity to build wells in his daughter’s memory in any country with distressed people. The brother said an organization in Ajman had agreed to this and the money would be deposited in their account.
The father assigned his brother to oversee the charitable work to be carried out in any country in memory of the Sheikh and to complete the legal process for it.
