Gebiomized and Velogicfit Partner⁢ to Revolutionize Dynamic Bike Fitting

MUNICH, Germany (May 3, 2025) – Bicycle ergonomics experts Gebiomized and Velogicfit have announced a partnership aimed at transforming dynamic bike fitting. Beginning this month,‍ Gebiomized will be the exclusive distributor of Velogicfit products in Germany, ‍Austria, and Switzerland.

Holistic Approach to Optimal Cycling

The collaboration integrates precise pressure measurement with 3D movement analysis, creating a thorough system for cyclists. This system aims to optimize seating positions and ⁤customize saddles. The technology is already in use in the progress of tailor-made saddles, such as the Fizik One2ONE.

Data ⁤Fusion for Cyclist and Bicycle Interaction

Velogicfit’s system⁤ uses a professional deep camera to capture 3D movement data and 2D video. This technology tracks markers, or specific pixels, to gather precise data on a cyclist’s movements. Combined with Gebiomized’s pressure measurement⁣ data, a complete picture of the interaction between cyclist and bicycle emerges.

Saddle development Applications

Beyond bike fitting, the technology ‍informs the development of individualized saddles. The Fizik One2ONE saddle is one example. Pressure measurements are used‍ to create custom saddle pads via 3D printing. The process begins with pressure readings on a cyclist’s existing saddle in‍ various riding conditions. A dedicated app than analyzes the data to determine the ideal saddle shape.

Looking Ahead: The ⁣Future of Bicycle Ergonomics

The partnership extends beyond distribution. ⁢Both companies plan to share knowledge to further develop their product lines.

Paraic McGlynn, CEO of Velogicfit, emphasized⁤ the significance of the collaboration. “It is an unprecedented time in which bike fitters have synchronized and correlated all of these tools in order to gain new knowledge,” McGlynn said.
