This is a system that will be applied to apartments with a price ceiling starting from 2021 to prevent gap speculation from buying a house with les jeonse.

However, with high interest rates and a recession in the housing economy, the so-called ‘young people’ who made exorbitant subscriptions found themselves in an awkward position.

The opposition parties agreed to relax the use of the actual residence requirement from ‘date of first occupation’ to ‘within 3 years after first occupation’.

In this way, the winners will be able to place a jeonse lease and pay the balance with the jeonse deposit.

Initially, the opposition opposed the abolition of the actual residency requirement, saying it could be misused for speculation again, but it appears they have reached a compromise ahead of the general election.

The ruling and the opposition intend to discuss the compromise plan in the Legislative Sub-Committee of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee tomorrow and present it to the full meeting on the 29th.

If the amendment is passed, it will apply immediately to 49,000 households in 77 complexes.

However, some point out that even if the compromise plan is implemented, it will be difficult to prevent confusion three years later.
