Pusha T ⁣revealed that Universal Music Group (UMG) had pressured him to censor⁤ Kendrick Lamar’s verse on a track and even remove the record entirely. When he refused, both Clipse and Pusha T were dropped from Def ‍Jam,‍ according to the‍ GQ interview. This incident ‍mirrors the pushback he faced after releasing “Story of Adidon,” regarding ⁢verses on Rick⁣ Ross’ ⁣“Maybach Music VI” and Pop Smoke’s “Paranoia.”
