Russian President Vladimir Putin, who sparked war, meets with female flight attendants at his airline ahead of International Women’s Day.

President Putin, who has been living in extreme isolation for over two years amid the corona crisis, took a commemorative photo with the female flight attendants.

At the meeting, he criticized Western economic sanctions against Russia.

<블라디미르 푸틴 / 러시아 대통령> “Anyway, these sanctions are a declaration of war. Fortunately, we haven’t gotten there yet.”

President Putin also threatened the West that the establishment of a no-fly zone would be viewed as an intervention in armed conflict.

The no-fly zone is called the demilitarized zone in the sky, and if it is violated, the established Party will use force to shoot down the aircraft.

He also emphasized that the removal of Ukraine’s military infrastructure, including military aircraft and air defense missile systems, is almost complete.

As anti-war protests intensified after the invasion of Ukraine in relation to domestic affairs, rumors of martial law spread and Russians are fleeing the country one after another, denying plans to declare martial law or a state of emergency.

The New York Times reports that U.S. intelligence agencies are speculating that Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine may have been influenced by prolonged extreme coronavirus quarantine.

There are also warnings that Putin may use chemical and biological weapons against Ukraine.
