The Egyptian club, led by Ali Maher, achieved a broad victory over its guest Pyramids, 3-1, during the match that brought the two teams together at Burj Al-Arab Stadium in Alexandria, in the quarter-finals of the Egyptian Club League Cup. The goals of Al-Masry were scored by Mido Gaber in the 27th minute, and Salah Mohsen in the 27th minute.
