On the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day, Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) M Khurshid Hossain paid tribute at Bangabandhu’s tomb in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
M Khurshid Hossain paid tribute to Bangabandhu’s mausoleum at noon on Tuesday (August 15) by offering floral wreaths. At this time he stood there silently for a while.
Later, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nescha Mujib and Khurshid Hossain prayed for the peace of the souls of the martyrs who died on August 15, 1975. Senior officers of RAB were present at this time.
