On September 11, 2024, Kasid Teeraprateep, Jet Ski World Champion, W GP One Waterjet World Cup 2023, posted a message via Facebook, updating on the mission to help flood victims in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province.

Divided into 4 Areas to Distribute Food and Evacuate People

The Jet Ski Association of Thailand will divide the teams into four areas to distribute food and evacuate people.

Line 1: Mai Lung Khan

The mission is to bring packed lunch and drinking water to distribute to villagers who have not eaten for 2 days and bring villagers who want to evacuate the area. A minimum of 2 Jet Skis are required for Line 1.

Line 2: Ban Ko Sai

This area is the most difficult and has not yet received aid. There is an urgent need to evacuate people stuck in their homes. Boxes of rice and drinking water will be distributed to the villagers, approximately 200 families. At least 3 boats are needed for Line 2.

Line 3: Piyaphon Village

This village is home to many stranded people who urgently need to evacuate newborns and pregnant women. The team needs to enter the area immediately early in the morning and requests 2 boats.

Line 4: Pham Kwai

There is a need for a lot of packed lunches and drinking water. Banthit Wittaya school has 90 children stuck in the school, and there is no need to evacuate, but rice will be brought to them. 2 boats are requested for Line 4.

Support Team and Rescue Efforts

Each line will have a support team from a foundation specializing in routes in the area, with 2 people per line, and a rescue team from Bang Kaeo. The support team will continue to take evacuees to the hospital, always 2 people per line.

Call for Help and Donations

Anyone who wants to help the people of Mae Sai village can bring canned rice, sticky rice, grilled pork, and water to prepare for the team at Hyundai Chiang Rai Center.
