Chisato Sakashita’s Unforgettable Tennis Encounter with Kei Nishikori

Chisato Sakashita, a 48-year-old talent and tennis enthusiast, recently shared‍ an‍ exciting experience on her Instagram. While enjoying a game ‌of⁢ tennis,‌ she⁢ noticed an unexpected player practicing on the court ​next to her.

Sakashita began her post by expressing her astonishment, writing, “Is this… reality? It still feels ⁤like a dream…!!” She revealed that she had been playing women’s doubles with talent Satoda Mai, freelance announcer Nakamura Hitomi, ‌and ⁢former professional tennis player Baba Sari.

As she continued her game, Sakashita encountered none other than Kei Nishikori, a renowned tennis player. She exclaimed, “I was enjoying women’s doubles at⁢ Ariake ⁢when Kei Nishikori came to ⁢practice on the court next to ⁣me!! There was a huge boom! I had always thought it would be a dream come true to see Nishikori play live, but I ‌never expected to meet him on the court next ⁣to me, so I shouted out loud, ‘Isn’t this amazing?'”

Sakashita also shared a photo of the‌ five of them together, which sparked a flurry of comments from her followers. Many expressed their amazement⁢ and admiration for the unexpected encounter, with comments such as “That’s amazing,” “This is incredible!” ​and “I’m so jealous.”

Nishikori is set to compete in the Davis Cup World Group ‍Division 1 match against Colombia on September 14th and 15th‍ at the Ariake Coliseum. Sakashita expressed her support, ‌writing, “Thank you for taking the photo Nishikori! I’m⁤ going to go cheer you on in the D Cup!! Fight for the Japanese team!!” She also thanked Iwabuchi-san and Coach Soeda, adding, “To be honest, I kept glancing⁤ at Nishikori out ‌of the corner of my eye today and ended up playing tennis with my mind elsewhere #of course that happens.”
