In most of the territory of Slovakia, there will be a significant change in the weather during the weekend (January 6 – January 7). On Sunday, cold arctic air will enter our area, accompanied by strong winds, which will increase the feeling of coldness. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informs about this on the social network, noting that on Sunday around noon in the east, north and extreme west of the Slovak Republic, the temperature may range from -7 to -15 degrees Celsius.
