Radiohead Announce 2027 Tour Dates for Australia and Japan

Radiohead’s reunion tour is expanding into a multi-year schedule, with the band officially announcing 21 live dates across Australia and Japan for 2027. According to official band schedules, the upcoming run marks the group’s first live performances in either country in more than a decade.

The newly scheduled dates follow a European reunion tour held in November and December 2025, which featured Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, and Philip Selway rotating 45 different songs across 20 shows. Following that initial return after a seven-year hiatus, the band brought its immersive Motion Picture House featuring KID A MNESIA project to Coachella in April inside an underground bunker before traveling to Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, and San Francisco.

2027 Tour Dates and Locations

The 2027 tour kicks off on May 3 at RAC Arena in Perth and concludes on June 13 at GMO Arena in Saitama, Japan, according to confirmed scheduling details. The Thom Yorke-fronted band has booked 16 shows in Australia and five shows in Japan.

Australia has not hosted the band since November 2012. Japan last saw the group headline a standalone date in 2008, followed by an appearance at the 2016 Summer Sonic Festival.

According to the band’s announcements, these 21 concerts represent the entirety of the group’s 2027 touring plans. No additional shows for that year will be announced, though the group stated an intention to explore further performances in other regions in the future.

Ticketing Policies and Registration Rules

According to Radiohead’s official site, ticket sales for the Australian dates require fans to register their details through a Frontier registration form to combat automated bots and scalpers. Registration opens on Monday, September 7, and runs for three days until Thursday, September 10. The band confirmed that registration timing does not impact selection odds, as all registrants during that window are treated equally.

Registered participants will receive an email on Friday, September 11, indicating whether they have been issued an unlock code. Starting at 7:00 AM local time on Tuesday, September 15, validated registrants with a code can access the official ticketing platform on a first-come, first-served basis to purchase up to four tickets for a selected city. Fans who do not receive an unlock code will be placed automatically on a waitlist for potential future sales.

Pricing and Charity Contributions

Ticket prices for the Australian run feature fixed pricing structures to prevent dynamic surges, per official ticketing guidelines. Standing tickets cost $199 AUD inclusive of fees, while seated tickets range from $139 to $349 AUD. Additionally, Fast Track Status packages are available at $649 AUD.

Every ticket includes a $2 AUD charity donation directed toward Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society, an amount that Radiohead has pledged to match with its own donation. Resale and transfer features will remain locked on official platforms until weeks before the shows take place, and tickets listed on third-party reseller sites above face value are subject to cancellation.
