Rain with Strong Winds and Thunder Predicted in Pakistan
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with strong winds and thunder in different parts of the country from September 26.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir between September 26 and October 1.
In Sindh, there may be rain in Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Umarkot, and nearby areas from Thursday to Saturday, apart from this, the weather will remain hot and dry in the rest of Sindh.
The weather in Karachi is likely to remain hot and humid during the next 24 hours, with a minimum temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius and a current temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Karachi is likely to go up to 33-35 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity in the air is 81%, and the wind is blowing from the west at a speed of 11 kmph.
On the other hand, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most areas of Balochistan.
The highest temperature was recorded in different areas of Balochistan, including Quetta at 39, Kalat at 31, Zhob at 38, Ziarat at 25, Sibi at 43, Turbat at 42, Nokundi at 45, Chaman at 36, Gwadar at 36, and Jeoni at 34.
NDMA Warning Issued for Rains Across the Country
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a warning regarding rains across the country.
The National Disaster Management Authority has said that heavy winds and thundershowers may occur in several areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir, while intermittent rain is expected in some areas of Sindh between September 26 and September 28.
Heavy rain is also expected to cause landslides in hilly areas of Murree, Galiat, Mansehra, Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, which may damage or block connecting roads.
All departments involved were instructed to keep emergency response teams alert, ensure a prompt response to any potential emergency, use resources, and ensure that necessary machinery is available in areas where there is a risk.
NDMA directed the concerned departments to take steps to ensure timely awareness of weather forecasts, advisories, and warnings to the local administration and the public and to take preventive measures and necessary measures in areas where landslides are likely to ensure that machines are on standby to deal with a possible roadblock in communication in time.
